About SaveEditor.Online
An open-source initiative empowering gamers with the freedom to play their way. A browser-based save file editor focused on compatible local saves, clear limits, and backups.
Our Mission
SaveEditor.Online was created with a simple but powerful goal: to democratize game modification. We believe that single-player gaming is a personal experience. Whether you want to skip a tedious grind, recover a corrupted save file, or experiment with different story paths, you should have practical tools and clear limits before changing a save.
In the past, editing save files required downloading sketchy software, hex editing, or complex technical knowledge. We changed that by building an editor that runs directly in your web browser. No downloads or installations; keep a backup before editing.
Why Trust Us?
🔒 Client-Side Technology
File handling is designed around browser-side parsing. When you select a file, it is loaded into your browser's memory, edited, and saved back to your disk. The selected save file is not uploaded to our parser server. We do use Google Analytics and AdSense for site performance and ads; see our Privacy and Cookie policies for details.
🛡️ Transparent & Safe
We are committed to transparency. Our tool is built on modern web standards (HTML5, WebAssembly) and is regularly updated to improve compatibility. We strictly oppose cheating in multiplayer games and design our tools solely for single-player experiences.
Supported Technologies
We are constantly expanding our support for game engines and file formats. Our current capabilities include:
